I was listening to Ken Bruce on Radio Two earlier today when he played "Making up again" by Goldie, saying that he was playing it as a tribute to the bands guitarist Dave Black who had tragically died at the weekend. Dave was hit by a Metro train on Saturday night. Ken also stated that this was a one hit wonder and it got me thinking about some of the other one hit wonders we have had in the U.K. charts over the years.

Goldie - "Making up again" 1978 |

East of Eden - "Jig a jig" 1971 |
Over the years of the U.K. charts there have been hundreds more one hit wonders some bigger than other, but as can be seen by this selection the 1970's had more than it's fair share.
