On ebid.net there is a group of music fans who share their tastes in music by posting various links to music videos, mostly from youtube, but also from elsewhere. Over the last few days we have been joined by some folk from Australia and some interesting stuff as been posted, so much so that I want to share some of it with you. It's mostly from the seventies and would probably be classed as pop rock.

How much fun is it sorting out my singles collection? The answer is great fun, seeing singles I had totally forgotten about, others thinking why on earth do I have a copy of this! However scary or sad they may be they will stay in the collection. I have been so surprised at how many non-hits I have, also how many by artists from outside the UK and USA. Music truly is an international thing and my collection just proves this. Having now just started into the C's I will post here a few of the international singles I have listed so far.

The Art Company a Dutch band known as VOF de Kunst in their own country had a UK hit with this, their only UK success so far.

Mike Brant was an Israeli pop star who only really achieved success once he move to France, he sadly committed suicide in 1975. For more info look here.

French composer and arranger Michel Bernholc had an international hit with this African tribal drum influenced track in 1971, using the name Burundi Steiphenson Black

Capelton "Killing Spree" a slab of modern Jamaican reggae see here for more about Capelton

Italy's 1974 entry into the Eurovision Song Contest was pipped by Abba's Waterloo. This is one of those tunes you will recognise having reached the dizzy heights of # 8 in the UK charts.

There will be many more tracks to follow from around the world.
